After so much freedom walking all over Dallas, I decided to let her loose as we finished walking Chai.  She went straight for the streets.  After wrangling her back to me and handling chai, I took them up stairs and she immediately starting crying and banging on the door to get back outside....  

Can the terrible 2s start at 17 months?

We are in Dallas this week and there are too many good ones.  I love how happy she is here.  Oh man, it'ssooooo nice to be outside! 

I'll have to do a Dallas post.

Layne and I are off to Texas tomorrow to see my family and get a little break from this nutso winter.  

I was packing here... She climbed in.

Pretty standard packing/toddler situation.

This week we were lucky to be invited to Michigan with my moms group.  One of the moms in our group owns this amazingly beautiful house in Lakeside Michigan.  One baby was sick so it was 5 mamas and 5 baby girls.  

This picture is Layne ready for lunch waiting on the other babes.

Sometimes when Layne is eating dinner and she's tired and ready for bed, I say ... "Night night Layne?"  And she puts her head down on her tray and says... "Nigh nigh."

Happy Valentine's day !  It took like 500 tries to get a good picture of this fast little one.  Thanks for the cute skirt Auntie Hayley!  Xo

She now just crawls right up on this chair with a book and cuddles in next to "Chai Chai" 

Oh, and PS....We have cabin fever!
