On Thursday nights Andrew teaches, so layne and I have to walk chai. She got all bundled up and was walking around then just fell down and stayed like this till I was ready to go.  It's too cold out there y'all.

Our friend Mary got Layne this awesome Super Woman book for her bday and she loves it.  When she gets to this page she says..."laynie"

She loves brushing her teeth.  I say, "it's time to brush your teeth!" And she smiles and chomps her teeth together. She's got 11 of them! 

1/52 photo project

I am going to attempt to post one picture once a week of my little boo here on my blog.  I've seen other blogs do it and it was fun to follow along.  This will also make me accountable of keeping this blog going.  Which I want to do for sure.

So here's week 1/52

This little one is climbing all over everything these days.  And she learned to say "up, up".  Now if only she could get down safely from this chair ;)

(and,  I am hoping to get a new phone one day soon so the photo quality will get better.) 

I'm an aunt again!

I forgot to tell my blog that I'm an aunt again!  Read: My Layner Bee is no longer the baby of the family . ;). It lasted 14 months!

Isaac Dion Crutchfield was born on Dec. 19, 2013.  His due date was originally 12/30 via c-section and when my sister's water broke a few weeks early....  They were ready for the c-section. (Her last baby was born via emergency c-section and this was the route she chose for this one). Although.. She said she couldn't imagine anyone choosing this route if they didn't feel they have too.  She says the recover is brutal.....

Layne and I are heading to Dallas for a week in March.  Can't wait to cuddle this little dude! 

And to get out of this ridiculous winter.  

Oh and to meet my other new nephew Oscar!  (Doggie nephew) 

Congrats to Holly and Erich for rescuing their first dog baby! 

Dallas here we come! March can't come soon enough.

Santa- Meet Layne, Layne- Meet Santa

The holidays are over.... BLINK.  That went by way too fast.  And as per usual I am behind on my blogging.  Here is a post I have been meaning to do for a while now.

First we went down the street to meet this bunk santa. ...

She was not impressed. 

Then we went to Macy's on State Street down town to meet the real deal!  These are the outtakes.  I only posted the good one of her smiling extra nice on Facebook, because the people there took it and we ended up buying out. These are the one's from my phone.

Christmas Photo Session

In Dallas, my sister bought a Groupon at JC Penny- So we decided to jump in on the action to use some of the pictures for our Christmas Cards.  I hope by now those of you that will be receiving our cards have gotten them already.. I love a good surprise!
