Summer is officially here! The Chicago public pools and splash pads at the parks are open!

I'm originally from Texas, I now live in Chicago....A bit about me, i love a lot of things, including but not limited to.. my husband, our new baby girl Layne, my dog Chai, food: eating it and cooking it, my lovely friends, my family, movies, TV, a good beer garden in the summer (with beer in hand), a nice glass of white wine (anytime of year), Chicago in the Summer, Texas in the winter, traveling, taking pictures and sharing them.
