This past weekend, we got to see our dear friends Adair, noe' and Wally in town from LA for Mary's wedding.  After the wedding weekend in Michigan (blog post still to come) they came over to our house for a play date.  It was so nice to relax and have the kiddos play.  (Even though layne pulled Wally's hair). Terrible 18 months I tell ya! 

We can't wait for them to move to Indiana next month so this can happen more often.

This is Cruz.  He's real cute and Layne looooves him.  (As do I) ;) 

This was the first 80 degree day in what feels like forever.  It was hot, and we loved it.  Yay summer!!!

This weekend we are going to Michigan, cause one of my BFFs is gettin hitched.

This weeks picture isn't too cute.  At swim class on Wednesday I was getting her changed and she fell off the bench!  I caught her before hitting the ground, but she was still crying hysterically, so I looked at her and her mouth was full of blood.  Poor little boo boo got her first busted lip (fat lip pictured above) 

One mom asked how old she was: I said 18 months.  She said:  oh yeah,  shit hits the fan at 18 months.  They start falling, throwing fits, getting possessive.  Uh huh.  Terrible twos here we come!  

Love you my sweet Laynie!  I'll try to make sure you don't fall anymore ;)

We went to a super fun baby friend Easter party today.  I got those bunny ears in the dollar bin at target.

This week gets a few extra pictures, because Layne started swim class!  Andrew was able to get off work a little early and come watch and take some pics.  

She was def.  the youngest in the class but she never cried and she had so much fun!

We are taking lessons through the Chicago park district, it's a 10 wk class for 28 bucks.  Can't beat that!  

Next week we start music class.
